John Mayfield, member of a third generation California agricultural and general business family, is currently chairman and chief executive officer of NTech, and of its Patchen Division. He is also chairman of the board of Mayfield Equipment Co.

During his career, Mayfield has served as chairman of the board and CEO of Rainbow Agricultural Services, Ukiah, California. Rainbow Agricultural Services was a John Deere dealership, which he bought and expanded into a multi-line, four-county retailer of farm and irrigation equipment. He was president and principal stockholder of Microphor, Inc., Willits, California, a diversified manufacturer of equipment for the rail and marine industries with worldwide sales. Mayfield was the vice president and manager of Mendo Mill and Lumber Co., Ukiah, California, a two-county family-owned retail lumber and building materials business; he was also the manager of a wood products manufacturing plant in Fields Landing, California, for International Wood Products Corp.

He has served as chairman of the North Coast Regional Commission of the California Coastal Commission. Mayfield has been a board member and vice chairman of North Coast Region, California Regional Water Quality Control Board and Deputy Director of the State of California Department of Conservation. He served as a member and chairman of the Mendocino County, California, Board of Supervisors.

Mayfield also has been active in numerous civic and business organizations. He served as chairman of the Executive Committee, Sonoma County Manufacturing Group; Small Business Committee, Natural Resources Committee, California Chamber of Commerce; Society of American Foresters; Board of Directors, Millview Water District; Board of Directors, Forest Land Owners; Executive Board of Directors, Sonoma/Mendocino Council of Boy Scouts; and member of the Republican Central Committee, Mendocino County, California.

He earned his B.S. degree in business from Humboldt State University, Arcata, California.

Ted Mayfield is the Chief Operating Officer for NTech Industries, Inc. He was previously the Vice President and General Manager of Microphor Division, Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies, a vertically integrated manufacturer of sanitation equipment for the rail, marine, bus and RV industries. Prior, he had been their Production and Material Manager. In addition, he has served as Vice President of Rainbow Agricultural Services, Ukiah, California.

His administrative, sales and marketing expertise include intellectual property management, major sales contract negotiations and ERP systems implementation. He also has international business experience in licensing, marketing and vendor development. His manufacturing experience includes lean manufacture techniques, quality systems, supply chain management and environmental/safety compliance. He has an in depth knowledge of injection molding, machining, sheet metal fabrication and electronic and mechanical assembly.

Mr. Mayfield's community activities include Little League and Leadership Mendocino of which he served as Treasurer and Steering Committee Member.

He holds a B.S. degree in finance from California State University, Sacramento, California and two California State contractor's licenses.
